Project:  Jinsha Lake, Hangzhou

City park is the name card of the city, It is the unity of material civilization and spiritual civilization of a city, but also the new engine of urban renewal.

Jinsha lake, called the "Little Sanya" in Hangzhou, is composed of elements such as summer, sunshine, beaches, clear water, and palm trees, providing people with a new paradise for leisure and entertainment. 

Jinsha Lake Park is located in the core section of Qiantang District, compared to the classical and exquisite West Lake, it exhibits modern, open, and magnificent features, highlighting the open and inclusive, and vast humanistic characteristics of Qiantang New Area.

Jinsha Lake focuses on the two keywords of "quality" and "exquisite" to create a cultural and tourism consumption aggregation area. By integrating POD ( "life, ecology, and growth") into the park-style block, improved the quality of regional living environment and drive regional development.

ROLEDS provides overall solutions for architectural landscape lighting and cultural tourism illumination for Jinshahu, utilizing light technology to create an ideal nighttime living space and build a shining example for the urban landscape of Hangzhou's eastern region.

Design

The planning adheres to the design concept of "returning the lake to the people", with the general principle of "south quiet and north movement" as the planning principle, to present a modern, fashionable and delicate ecological theme park.

Along the lake, the method of "string of beads into a chain" is adopted to highlight the eight nodes, and to create a night landscape with clear levels, prominent levels, dynamic and static integration, and appropriate light and shade.

Smart lighting + lighting art

The square features smart projection solutions, designed with immersive themes such as Qiantang Tide, Flower Pond Moonlight, and Ocean World for interactive light and shadow experiences. At night, the rippling lake light and pastel light rhythms of "Jinsha Melody" are presented, allowing people to enjoy the sensory experience of a dream park, a poetic park, and a happy park.

The lakeside running track features changing light and shadow , reflecting a positive and upbeat attitude towards life. The park's landscape area uses changes in light and color temperature to correspond with the four seasons, showcasing the different beauty of Jinsha Lake throughout the year. The high-quality lighting environment, with a focus on people, satisfies functional lighting while also providing a comfortable lighting experience.

The intelligent control platform realizes fine management, with multiple modes Settings on holidays and weekdays, low carbon energy saving, real-time monitoring and remote control strategy management.

From city parks to commercial districts, the park commercial street serves as a transition zone between people and nature, city and park. As a contextual, experiential, and immersive commercial street, it creates a new consumer scene full of emotion and vitality for citizens.

Jinsha Lake leisure and commercial characteristic street, which integrates office buildings, large flat floor apartments, boutique office buildings and bustling commercial supporting facilities, is the first "municipal commercial characteristic street" in Qiantang District.

The light and shadow of the building around the block characteristics, cultural content and the Asian Games event highlight the prosperity of Qiantang night.
