Beijing launched boat tours on the Liangma River on March 18, 2023. Taking a sightseeing boat tour on the 6 kilometer-long route on the Liangma River, visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the river.

After the renovation of Liangma River, the area is full of people and business. As a "new landmark" of Beijing, the Liangma River has not only been selected as one of the first national night culture and tourism consumption clusters, but also on the 2022 annual cultural consumption demonstration gold list.

At night, the lights on both sides of the river and the waterscape blend together to form ascenic route, and the popularity of the business district along the river thrives; the cultural flavor and fireworks of the Liangma River are interwoven, showing the characteristics of "hip culture, internationalization and large-scale greenery" in Chaoyang District.

The Liangma River route is 1.8 kilometers long. Cruise ships operate from March 15th to November 15th every year. Ships are scheduled for both day and night.

The 800,000-square-meter landscape zone of the Landmark River is divided into four different themed areas of life and leisure, international interaction, commercial vitality, and natural ecology, becoming a space for the surrounding residents and visitors to rest, play, and interact, and is popular with the public.

Roleds participates in the project of creating the Liangma River, with the theme of "enjoy the international flavor of Liangma River", integrating cruise ships, piers, commercial enhancement on both sides of the river and thematic lighting interpretation, etc.

Revitalizing Liangma River's cultural and business economy

The Liangma River Lighting Project fully integrates modern lighting techniques, focuses on regional positioning, relies on water resources and landscape space, and enhances the night lighting of landscape gardens, art installations, architectural landscapes, bridges and river channels along the Landmark River.

The project as a whole focuses on the visitor's viewing and touring experience, using variable lighting design and stylish architectural shapes. The project seeks to make the Liangma River and Chaoyang Park into a leading-edge urban water boat experience center in the country.

With the help of advanced technology, Roleds tells the history of the Liangma River and the cultural heritage of the canal according to the innovative interactive light and shadow theme, creating a new style of Liangma River landscape combining technology and humanity.

Since the completion and debut of the new Liangma River International Style Waterfront in 2022, CCTV news coverage, V-topics punching, cultural and creative bazaars, festivals, fashion shows, etc. have greatly contributed to the economic growth of the surrounding businesses.

In the future, the Liangma River will build a leading domestic and international first-class cultural tourism consumption place. The lighting-empowered Liangmahe jjiang will continue to expand the scale of consumption of the waterfront economy of Liangmahe through a more diversified integration, and become the business card of culture, commerce and tourism in Chaoyang District.
