Smart lighting supports higher quality of Suzhou city

In order to implement the new requirements of the Yangtze River Delta regional development strategy and build the sub-center of the Xuzhou Metropolitan Circle, Suzhou is accelerating its integration into the Huaihai Economic Zone.

Four halls and one center, namely Suzhou Gymnasium, Suzhou Science and Technology Museum, Suzhou Archives, Suzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and Suzhou Women and Children Activity Center.　

The three major buildings are all located in the Suzhou High-tech Economic Zone. The pavilions are interconnected and the buildings are adjacent. They are an important manifestation of Suzhou's urban economic development and human life, and they are also a beautiful business card of Suzhou.

Urban Planning Exhibition Hall

The Urban Planning Exhibition Hall is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Renmin Road and North Second Ring Road in Bianhe New District. The building uses modern techniques to interpret the characteristics of Lingbi Stone, creating a cultural location with regional characteristics for Suzhou New District.

Suzhou City Stadium

In the adjacent northeast corner is the Suzhou City Gymnasium, which covers an area of 159 acres. Not only can it host global and national individual sports events, but it is also a new place for citizens to exercise, entertain, and relax.

Municipal Science and Technology Museum, Archives and Women and Children Activity Center

It is an integrated building composed of three major functional areas: the Municipal Science and Technology Museum, Archives, and Women and Children's Activity Center. It covers an area of about 36.5 acres and has a total investment of about 353 million USD . The three are shared through space and form an independent district.

DESIGNPHILOSOPHY

Following the principle of "people-oriented, sustainable development", the overall use of simple lighting forms and multiple lighting functions creates lighting themes and reshapes the architectural night view form, illuminating Suzhou people's beautiful yearning for life. 

In the jade box stone. The large area and high uniformity of light and shadow highlight the strong and square structure of the building itself. At the same time, the geometrically concave and convex space is treated with RGBW light and color, highlighting the sense of space design of the building and the atmosphere of the future city.

The water revolves around the clouds. Based on the design concept of combining modern architectural modeling with traditional culture, it incorporates the water of flowing water and cloud capital, and the stretched shape of clouds, which outlines the streamlined and natural shape characteristics, highlighting the chic and easy-going architecture of the building, just like painting work.

Light is used as pen, shadow as ink, embodying emotion in the scene, the power of architecture is highlighted, it shows the city's rich history and culture, minimalist warm colors outline the architectural form, and color embellishments express the vitality and upward spirit of the city;

The three architectural elements are unified, the light and shadow are transformed into the city elves and integrated with the architecture, urban characteristics and historical and cultural feelings are highlighted while strengthening the recognition and functionality of the building at night;

Real-time interaction and overall linkage

Through intelligent control, it realizes accurate grouping control of lighting nodes in each area, multi-scenario mode management, weekday mode, holiday mode and major event time, efficient centralized control, ensuring program playback, and taking into account the smart lighting needs of human text, energy saving and environmental protection.

The real-time interaction of the three major buildings in the overall scene, the dynamic lighting effects of the overall linkage, and the ever-changing colors add infinite vitality to the development of Suzhou city;
