Chongqing World Trade Tower

Chongqing World Trade Center was officially approved by the Chongqing Municipal Government to the New York headquarters of the World Trade Center Association in 1988 to become a city member of the World Trade Center Association. It is the only branch of WTCA established in Chongqing, China; 

Its address is located in the core area of Chongqing Jiefangbei. The main body of the World Trade Building is 262 meters high, with a total height of 283.1 meters, with a total of 62 floors. It was completed in 2004. At that time, Chongqing World Trade Tower, with its proud "height", not only became the landmark building of Jiefangbei, but also "the tallest building in Chongqing" and "the tallest building in the west of China".

In recent years, with the rapid economic development of Chongqing and the natural attenuation of the landscape lighting of the World Trade Tower. In 2019, the landscape lighting project of Chongqing World Trade Tower as a landmark of the city's image was included in the key night lighting construction and improvement project of Jiefangbei area. DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

The lighting design of the project has undergone deep regional considerations. The needs of Chongqing's mountain city culture, architectural value expression, geographical environment, and the use of night scene media light shows, combined with Chongqing's economic development, give this city landmark a unique charm.

Revisiting history and restoring the old memory of Bayu culture has been staged in this city for thousands of years. The tide of Chongqing people, the indomitableness of Chongqing people, and the refreshment of Chongqing people are mutually infiltrated with this culture. The prosperous Jiefangbei shows this cultural charm to the fullest.

The international city, the economic center of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, is located in advantages, trade exchanges, and economic prosperity, so that the city continues to burst out wild power. Architectural lighting uses an intelligent control system to allow the main body of the building to freely switch colors and animations according to needs, highlighting the prosperous face of the city.

The commercial CBD in the middle of the city represents the strength and image of the city. According to the value of the building itself, through the light and shadow, the lighting is in sharp contrast with the surrounding buildings. The cool color based lighting shows the stylish and simple temperament, and the warm color shows the magnificent atmosphere of the building and the sense of future technology.

LIGHTING APPLICATION

Based on the shape of the building, RGBW four-in-one linear lights and wall washers are used to outline the outline of the building. Through rigorous control of color temperature and brightness, light pollution in high-rise buildings is avoided and visual enjoyment is achieved.

At the same time, the whole project adopts the intelligent lighting control system developed by Roleds, it is divided and adjusted by time according to client requirements.

It is dominated by a monochrome color on weekdays, and the light and shadow of the facade follow the continuous rhythm of the picture, highlighting the simple atmosphere and business temperament of the building. On Saturdays, Sundays and large festivals, it presents a colorful and dazzling three-dimensional effect. The superimposed picture looks like a skyline connected to the cloud from a distance, shining brightly in the night of Chongqing, dazzling.

LIGHT CHONGQING WORD THADE CENTER

The completion of the project was reported by the media. The LED rainbow gradually flickers under the night, making this dazzling Chongqing high-rise building and the bustling Jiefangbei's bustling complement each other, and stage a charming and bright city scene.
