Beijing administrative center officially moved into the Beijing City Sub-center on January 11, 2019.

When the first ray of sunlight shone on the main square of the administrative office area of Beijing's sub-center in the morning, the solemn flag-raising ceremony was held, and the simple office looked extraordinarily solemn against the backdrop of the rising sun.

As a provider of LED outdoor lighting system solutions, Roleds has studied and implemented the decisions and deployments made by the Party Central Committee on the planning of the Beijing City Sub-center.

Under the leadership of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government and other parties, we are fortunated to participate in the lighting project of Beijing's sub-center, using light and shadow to write a model of urban construction and development in the new era, opening a new era of imperial capital.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

The Beijing Administrative Center is located on the north bank of the North Canal in Lucheng Town, Tongzhou District. The municipal party committee, the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, and the CPPCC office areas are arranged in a zigzag pattern on the north, east, and west sides.

The office area of the municipal government is located on the north side of the office area of the municipal party committee.

The Beijing Sub-center focuses on building a world-class demonstration zone for a harmonious and livable city, a demonstration zone for new urbanization, and a demonstration zone for coordinated development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

The solemn Beijing city sub-center, the lighting design is based on low-key, simple and elegant light colors, thus creating a quiet and indifferent lighting style and connecting the cycle of day and night in the name of light.

In terms of architectural style, the Beijing Sub-City Center cuts in from many aspects such as architectural design, landscape design, lighting design, etc., and carefully builds every block and every building.

Light and shadow are the expression of environmental demand and architectural art. The lighting design is guided by architecture, and the overall light expression is simple and calm.

Mainly with minimalist and neat warm white light, it reflects the Chinese style and regional style, and highlights the lighting style of main functional blocks, main landscapes, and main buildings.

In the course of the project, in order to highlight the concept of green, future, and intelligence, to create a high level of Beijing urban sub-center,

Roleds has carried out multiple light effect simulations and professional debugging, etc., according to the lighting design needs to customize the lighting effect, glare control, lamp angle and other aspects of the design.
