Having made a remarkable entrance at Light + Building 2024 in Frankfurt in March, three ROLEDS products – MatriX 7 Floodlight, GOLF 7in1 Full Color Intelligent Floodlight, and Modular Smart Light Pole – already recipients of the IF Design Award 2024, have now been honored with the Red Dot for high design quality. With a focus on modern esthetics combined with versatility, intelligence, and energy efficiency, the three products are not only contemporary in design and materials, but also prioritize light distribution, digitalization, and functionality.

The development of the three products stemmed from the evolving demands and features of our urban outdoor life. The concept was designed by the ROLEDS R&D department, a team with abundant lighting project experiences, excellent design ability, and perspective insights into the illumination for the city’s outdoor space, especially for landscape lighting and public lighting.

Their brief was to develop a solution for outdoor space with maximum visual comfort, safety, convenience, and environmental sustainability. The result is three luminaires with a lot of ingenuity in design, versatile for various outdoor applications.

MatriX 7 Floodlight – An outdoor modular LED floodlight provides a comprehensive lighting solution for any scenario. With its innovative modular design, akin to the construction toy LEGO, MatriX 7 could be assembled into various configurations, expanding its application range infinitely while facilitating the production process and saving energy. Well-designed elaborate accessories bring much more flexibility into the floodlight, allowing for omnidirectional adjustment and multi-dimensional projection. Thanks to ROLEDS self-developed lighting control system, professional lighting becomes easier.

GOLF 7in1 Full Color Intelligent Floodlight – This is a perfect outdoor lighting product with vibrant colors of high saturation, faithfully reproducing natural light hues. Through the color mixing technology of ROLEDS Digital Photochromic System 2.0, the luminaire with 7-in-1 LEDs offers a wide color gamut compared to the traditional RGB color mixing technology, enriching the design expression of outdoor landscape lighting.

Modular Smart Light Pole – Designed for professional lighting in modern cities, the modular smart light pole features functional scalability, interactivity, and energy efficiency. As a main functional body, the light pole can be extended with various IoT modules on demand, such as Wi-Fi modules, security cameras, traffic lights, EV charging ports, and more. It saves the time, resources, and expenses required to build the same infrastructure.
