From December 1st to 3rd, 2017, the 2nd Mazu Cultural Forum and the 19th China Meizhou Mazu Cultural Tourism Festival were held in Meizhou Island. The permanent site of the World Mazu Cultural Forum was unveiled.
World Mazu Cultural Forum Permanent venue project covers an area of 52.63 acres, with a total construction area of about 48000 square meters, including the main venue, media center, three hotel buildings and supporting landscape.
The structure design of the Convention and Exhibition Center adopts the assembling structure, and the exterior design follows the architectural style of Minnan residential building, which implies safety and longevity. It is the starting point building community of the Maritime Silk Road Project.

Design Concept
Mazu represents peace and harmony, hope and direction! The Mazu Convention and Exhibition Center hopes to become the lighthouse for spreading Mazu culture.The inspiration of the project comes from the artistic conception of "A Bright Moon on the Sea". The design of the building nightscape and the surrounding natural environment should be prominent but not abrupt, which echoes the Mazu Temple.
World Mazu Culture Forum Convention and Exhibition Center
From the facade point, the cool and warm light from architecture to landscape gives people a sense of visual hierarchy. Lighting focuses on the warped eaves of the building, showing the noble temperament of the eaves, and the main facade is a symbol of white holiness.

Luminaires
The lighting design of Mazu Culture Project combines the marine culture with the architectural characteristics of Minnan residential building. The luminaires complement each other and become an organic part of the landscape.
In order to achieve overall energy-saving, the project uses low-power; its construction and landscape matches the luminaire to carry on the brightness partition effectively controlling the dizziness and glare.
The technical personnel also simulated and tested light beam angle of the luminaires repeatedly to avoid the light pollution caused by a large number of lights in the city.
With its excellent optical parameters and product performance, MATRIX products not only add luster to the permanent site of the World Mazu Culture Forum, but also use light to experience Mazu culture.

The Way of Control
Lighting control adopts computer remote module control, and the luminance and gray level of the luminaires can be adjusted and changed through zoning and time-sharing control, making the lights more perfect to integrate the environment. At the same time, corresponding lighting mode can be opened according to the needs of different periods to ensure the functionality and decoration of the nightscape, and also to meet the requirements of energy saving.
